Financial Communications

The research field "Financial Communications" addresses current issues in business and financial communications under the conditions of digitization and sustainability. Both trends are already having a lasting impact on the communication and reporting practices of companies in particular and the financial community as a whole.

The way companies meet their disclosure and transparency obligations and reach their stakeholders on a communicative level is changing rapidly. Hence we target the question what actions need to be taken to support the transformation to a sustainable and ecologically sound economy.

The range of topics covered by the "Financial Communications" research group includes corporate communications and reporting, public and investor relations, sustainability reporting as well as financial literacy and business and financial journalism.
